Page backgrounds and five new templates

Released October 16, 2026

Every template gets a configurable main and band background with tinted defaults, cards never share the color of what they sit on, and five new page templates.

Highlights

Templates now have two backgrounds you can set: the main one (plain, soft, glow, aurora, grid or dots, tinted with any color) and the one for the alternating bands (muted, tinted, gradient or dots). In dark mode the page is a deep tinted color instead of pure black. Cards, fields and tiles inside a band are lifted one step above it, so they always stand out.

  • impact-page: a sustainability and impact report with headline numbers, emissions charts, a carbon calculator and commitments.
  • promo-page: a limited-time sale page with a coupon hero, a countdown, a copyable code, plan cards and a savings calculator.
  • research-report-page: a gated research report page with a report cover, a download form, key findings with charts and a benchmark explorer.
  • switch-page: a migration page for teams leaving other tools, with source tiles, a 4-step import wizard and a support matrix.

Changed

  • marketing-section: new PageBackdrop with main and band backgrounds, plus bandClasses, bandStyle, useBandBackground and usePageBackground for custom bands.
  • hero-section: skips its own glow inside a decorated page background, so the two do not stack.
  • cta-section, logo-cloud: follow the page's band background.
  • pricing-page: new background, backgroundColor, bandBackground and bandColor props.
  • login-page, register-page, error-pages: new background and backgroundColor props; the hero panel reads better in dark mode.
  • waitlist-page: new pageBackground, pageBackgroundColor, bandBackground and bandColor props (its background prop still sets the hero).
  • radio-group, checkbox, switch: card options get a soft fill instead of only a border, so they stand out on panels.
  • deal-pipeline: in dark mode the columns and deal cards are lifted so the board reads on a dark page.
  • everything else: templates take background and backgroundColor (and bandBackground and bandColor when they have bands), each design picks its own look, and no card, panel or field shares the color of the surface it sits on.

Fixed

  • crm-pipeline-page, crm-contact-page, post-listing-wizard, users-admin-page, admin-dashboard-page, listing-detail-page, marketplace-home-page, onboarding-flow: tiles, fields and cards that had the same color as their background in one theme now stand out.
