Wingo UI 1.0: the first public release

Wingo UI is a component library you copy into your project as source, the way shadcn/ui works, built on React 19, Tailwind CSS v4, Radix primitives and motion. Every item ships with its own playground, prop docs and live examples, and installs with one command: npx wingo-ui@latest add <slug>, the shadcn CLI, or your coding agent through the Wingo UI MCP server.

Every item in this release starts at version 1.0.0. From now on each item carries its own version and content hash, so wingo-ui outdated and wingo-ui update can tell you exactly what changed and merge it with your local edits.

Highlights

• Mobile first, for real: every component works at 360 px, uses 44 px touch targets on touch screens, and swaps popovers, selects, menus and dialogs for bottom sheets below 768 px.
• One design system: semantic color tokens, six tones, elevation, z-layers and motion presets shared by all 268 items, equal in light and dark mode.
• Configurable by default: sizes, variants, tones, radius, colors, labels and durations are props with finished defaults, and UIProvider sets app-wide defaults in one place.
• Accessible: real buttons and inputs, full keyboard support, visible focus rings and reduced motion support.
• Agent ready: a remote MCP server, a CLI and rule files for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok and Cursor, always serving the latest registry.
